Main Course Party in Long Island

Dinner was fantabulous!
It started with Heirloom Tomatoes & Mozzarella salad with marinated Jumbo Prawns and a Cucumber Salad bowl.
Next a Mango Sorbet Intermezzo...then the main dish...A tasting plate of Filet Mignon (like butta!), Miso Glazed Sea Bass (melt in your mouth!), French Breast of Chicken (you know what they say about those French breasts!)...
Dessert was a total sugar rush...as you see in the pic it was a sampler of sweets...Creme Brulee, Molten cake, Berries, and Vanilla Ice cream....Yummy!
To add a bit of fun waiters came around with mini White Castle Sliders in their cardboard package!
As I rolled out of the affair they had a guy grilling giant NY pretzles...they were so warm and gooey!
What a great night we had a ball....I danced and sang all night...hopefully i burned off a few calories!

Party in Long Island

Well...what a great trip we had! The family celebration was fantastic...we had so much great food I was afraid the plane wouldn't take off!

Let's start with the decadent and totally out of this world cocktail hour...

I took some pics...above ...smoked salmon focaccia sandwiches, herb crusted halibut, marinated roasted veggie platter, and crab salad filled cucumber cups...the other offerings were...

Sushi bar

Raw bar

Pasta station

Caviar bar

Carving station

And a guy cooking lobster tails in cognac! Kill me!

Now lets talk about the hot passings!

Lamb chops

Goat chese raspberry pastry puffs

Piggys in puff pastry (Gotta have em!)

Rare tuna on a chip

Tarragon shrimp

Mini Ruebens

And this is only what I could see!!!!

To wash it all down was a very well stocked open bar....phew!
